Morso 6843 / 6848

The 6800 series of stoves by Morsø Foundry consists of a small convection stove that fits perfectly into rooms with a low heat demand. The stove builds on the principles of the popular 6100 series with the addition of a new door with automatic self-closing, a rounded-off top plate in solid cast iron and an elegant handle that remains cool when lit.

The Morsø 6843 is supplied with a log storage base, which is practical as well as offering a good view of the rustic log pile. The 6848 has a pedestal that lifts the stove and gives it a light and free-standing appearance. The combination of raw cast iron and soft round lines results in a stove that stands out from the crowd, and suits the clean modern style of living. The stove is EcoDesign Ready and meets the high environmentally requirements, ensuring clean combustion.

Charnwood Aire 7

The 7kW Aire is a revolutionary new wood burning stove utilising the Charnwood BLU clean burning technology.  With an energy efficiency of 82% and low particulate emissions it exceeds the new Eco Design standards.

What catches the eye though is the large ceramic glass window which gives a stunning view of the fire. Charnwood has also slightly modified the way that air is introduced into the stove, and this affects the flame picture, making it more like seeing an open fire.

The Aire incorporates Charnwood’s unique BLU burning technology that is not only a vast improvement on the new 2022 Ecodesign standards but meets with Defra exemption limits; allowing wood to be burnt cleanly and safely in smoke control areas.

The Aire has a modern look but is softened by the curves on the door and stand. It would suit a wide range of room styles. It is available in two heights, and the standard eight Charnwood colours that are shown below.

Charnwood Cranmore 7

The Charnwood Cranmore 7 is a classic new wood burning stove designed and made on the Isle of Wight. It takes inspiration from the Regency era with a single framed glass door and archetypal detailing. The pleasing proportions of the Cranmore make it well suited to a traditional fireplace and with a large picture window it is an ideal replacement for an open fire. With an excellent 110mm clearance to combustibles at the rear when it is installed with twin wall flue and a stove mounted heat shield, it is also a good choice for a freestanding stove close to a plasterboard wall.

The Cranmore 7 uses Charnwood clean burn Blu technology for an exceptionally efficient 7kw output and has been awarded a clearSkies level 5 rating. It is incredibly simple to operate with one single air control and features a Sliding firebed for clean and easy ash removal.

It is available in a range of colours and features a firm close, cool-to-touch, handle for safe and easy reloading.

The difference between an open fire and the Cranmore in terms of its efficiency and eco-credentials shouldn’t be understated. The Cranmore produces a far more efficient burn and reduces PM emissions by 90%. Added to Charnwood’s policy of caring for the environment, in all aspects of the business, means a Cranmore stove is an environmentally sound heating solution you can be proud of.

Victorian, Georgian, and Regency period properties all provide a perfect backdrop for the traditional aesthetic of the Cranmore. The elegant and timeless design blended with the latest technology makes the Charnwood Cranmore nothing short of a modern classic.

Morsø Squirrel 1412 / 1442

Morso Squirrel 1412 StoveWith the needs of the environment in mind, coupled with the desire to meet the world’s most stringent environmental requirements, Morsø has significantly improved the combustion system of its true classic – the widely known Squirrel stove.

The Morso Squirrel 1412 and 1442 convector fires up quickly and effectively. Its firebox is fitted with a tertiary air chamber supplying additional combustion air directly above the flame. This additional air ensures secondary combustion of any smoke and gases giving maximum efficiency and minimal particle and CO emissions into the atmosphere.

The Morsø 1412 has an exceptional viewing window for such a small multi-fuel cast iron stove. Despite its compact design, the stove has a powerful 5kw rated output making it ideal for a country cottage or city living.

The Morsø 1442 stove’s convection process ensures swift and evenly distributed heating throughout the room. The size of the stove makes it ideal for fairly small homes, weekend cottages and similar, and ensures that both the fuel and the stove are utilised optimally.

Both models are equipped with a riddling grate and ash pan, which makes it easy to remove the ash and clean the stove. Morsø’s air wash system will maintain a clear glass, maximising your enjoyment of the stove. The side panels of this iconic model are still decorated with Morsø’s classic squirrel motif or alternatively with ribbed sides. Three leg lengths are available with the shortest as standard.

Clearance to combustibles to the rear is only 100mm meaning it is a good option when looking to install a stove which requires a twin-wall chimney.
